Try conformal cooling insert/cavtiy/core in your injection tooling
We got a case about conformal cooling design and manufacturing, one way is using metal 3d printing, another way is our method---conformal cooling, through compare them about the cooling time and effect, not too much change, how can we can choose them? I think the most important thing for many customers is cost, we cannot beyond our budget. In my opinion, different way has different benefit, for metal 3d printing, the base material is powder, laser sintering and manufacture it through make powder packing. For diffusion bonding, the base material is all kinds of mold steel, not material limited, if your request is high polish, we can recommend you use 2083 or other mold steel. We can use different types of materials according to your requirements. Actually, for 3d metal printing, the cost is according to your part weight, if your part not beyond 3 kg, its suitable for metal 3d printing. But if you have a large numbers, the total weight beyond 3kg, I think diffusion bonding is s...
